My name is Micah Hunt, the owner of the 5S Detailing. I have been living in Waukesha for the past few years after moving from Iowa to go to school in Milwaukee. I have dabbled in the realm of detailing cars for several years starting first with my own vehicle which I meticulously clean and enjoy experimenting with methods and products to achieve quality results which satisfy my organized and clean personality. This aspiration led me to seek out opportunities to detail professionally as a side hobby to hopefully build it into a sustainable business while living in Iowa. My aspirations, however were put to the side when I was deployed to the Middle East while serving in the army national guard there in Iowa. After returning I set my sights on moving to Wisconsin and attending university but never fully gave up my detailing aspirations.

The goal of 5S Detailing is to continue on with my aspirations to build a premium detailing business with a strong emphasis on providing both convenient and exceptional customer service while delivering the highest level of quality.

How 5S Detailing began:

I purchased 5S Detailing from a good friend I know through my local church, Brian Cornell, who started the business with his family. Through providence, His desire was to hand over the business to someone likeminded who would carry on his vision. While timing was no accident, I shared his vision and enjoyment in detailing and also had the background in car detailing so I was ecstatic when he approached me for the intention of handing over the business. I take great enjoyment in detailing vehicles as well as getting the opportunity to serve others through it, and seeing their reaction to a transformed vehicle. While not a “team” yet, my desire is to build 5S Detailing into a team of experts who are reliable and bring the same passion for detailing.
